ABOUT
THE SHOW

The All Night Strut! is a look at the depth and variety of popular music from the 1930's and 1940's.  It creates a musical mood which transports the audience to a time when jazz became acceptable and big bands were abundant.  The styles of Miller, Dorsey, James, Ellington, Calloway and many others are easily recognisable.

The show is set against a background of the depression and World War II, yet the mood is one of optimism and energy.

There is no attempt at a story or to put the songs in chronological order, we just let the songs speak for themselves!
